Case Study Deep Dive
What we did
There were five key areas we look at when for rapid traffic growth. They include:
- On-site technical SEO
- Establish E-E-A-T
- Topical authority with 20 + pieces of content monthly
- Link building and digital PR
- UX and conversion rate optimization
Below we wal though in more detail what we found and what actions we took to get a 3,443% explosion in traffic in just 6 months.
Foundational Sprint
Step #1: Conduct a full technical SEO audit
- What does an SEO Audit include?
When Google crawls your website, they dont see what we see on the front end; they are crawling code and trying to make sense of your website. Technical errors are roadblocks and dead ends for crawlers,w hich hurt rankings.
These might include:
404 pages
3xx redirects
Multiple H1 tags
Missing ALT tags
Pages not in the sitemap
Sitemap doesn’t exist
Pages set to nofollow, noindex
Broken links
the list goes on…
On a basic level, we are optimising your website so that when Google crawlers come, everything is running smoothly. They are not being taken to dead ends (404 pages) or redirect loops, which waste their time and your crawl budget.

- Our 76 Point Baseline Technical Audit Checklist implemented
Over the years we have complied a list of 76 technical points on all website which Google checks to make sure the site is up to standard.
After finding and fixing technical errors on the website, we make sure common things that Google looks for are in place like:
- Robot.txt file exists
- Sitemap exists
- HITML sitemap exists
- Terms
- Privacy
- Schema markup
- Bread crumbs

- Fix site speed
Site speed is extremely important for several reasons. Firstly, it costs Google energy and resources (money) to crawl your site. Why would they continue to crawl and rank a website which is 2 – 5x the size of other website that deliver the same or better information. The answer is they wont.
They will deliver the best/ most cost effective answer to the user.
Other than Google resources, you have impatient users to contend with. Would you wait 10 seconds for a website to load? Not me.
The quicker you can give the user the answer they are looking for, the better your chances for getting an enquiry and sale. Site speed is everything.

Step #2: Demonstrating Expertize-Experience-Authority -Trust (E-E-A-T)
Expertize-Experience-Authority-Trust at the four markers Google is looking for when ranking a website. In a nutshell, are you who you say you are and can you be trusted. This is on a website and author level.

- Why does E-E-A-T matter?
E-E-A-T is important because it helps Google decide if your content is worth showing to people. It’s like Google asking, “Can I trust this site to give good advice?” If the answer is yes, you rank higher.
It matters because anyone can post anything online, but Google wants to show content from people who know what they’re talking about, have real experience, and aren’t trying to mislead users.
If you’re running a website in a Your Money Your Life (YMYL), Google leans heavily on E-E-A-T signals when ranking as the advice you give can affect peoples financial and physical well-being.
How we demonstrated E-E-A-T for our client
Our clients website did not present a strong case to Google that that they could be trusted. So we started with the about page, then a meet the team page and a link to each of the team members individual pages.

Competitors Rank
Above You
understand what’s holding it back.
What you’ll know after the review
- Whether your site can realistically compete in organic search
- What’s currently limiting growth (authority, coverage, trust, or structure)
- How long SEO would likely take to show meaningful results
- What level of investment is typically required to compete
- Whether SEO is the right growth strategy for your business
What we assess
- Authority strength relative to competitors Google already ranks
- Topical coverage depth across commercially important topics
- EEAT and trust signals influencing search confidence
- Search visibility constraints affecting scale and consistency
We also apply an internal Search Confidence Rating to benchmark your site against competitors.
What this is not
- A full SEO audit or implementation plan
- A checklist-style technical report
- A sales call in disguise
